Awards:   1-6 place per division, Best Dressage Score for Training and Preliminary, Best Cones Scores 1-6 place for Training and Preliminary, Combined Test 1-6 place for Training and Preliminary.

 

Fees: Driving Trial (All three phases) $ 60/turnout; Combined Test $ 40/turnout

 

Entries: Open February 1; Close March 1. Limited to the first 25 entries based on postmark. Entries must include full payment and current Coggins. We mostly follow ADS rules (www.americandrivingsociety.org) but are not an ADS show.

 

Age: Drivers & Navigators < 18 must have signed parental consent. Drivers < 18 must be accompanied by a knowledgeable adult horseperson. Navigators must be at least 12. Equines must be at least 4.

 

Times: Times will be posted on the Brandywine website www.bvdc.org by March 10, 2008 or call Jaye Ventresca – Secretary on March 12th or 13th at office number between 9:00 am and 12 noon.

Packets: Will be available on Saturday March 15th starting at 6:30 am. All persons riding in a carriage (whip, navigators, passenger, etc) will be asked to sign Delaware Valley College waivers before packets are released. A signed Brandywine Valley Driving club general liability waiver must accompany each entry.

 

Food: Will be available for purchase on the grounds Saturday

 

Parking: Please observe parking signs and directions.  Water available on site. Bring your own ice.

 

Scores:  Class ribbons/packets available 30 minutes after scores are posted, barring protest. Best awards at the end of the day.  Scores and ribbons may be mailed at competitor’s request and $5.00 fee.

 

Dressage and Cones: Dressage: ADT Training Level Test 1-2005, ADT Preliminary Level Test 1-2005

Dressage and cones will be open to walk at 6:30 am March 15th.  The first competitor will go at 8:30 am.

 

Arena: Dressage: 24.38M x 68.58M Sand, Cones: Sand, Hazards: Sand

 

Dress: Low key, but correct: whip, gloves, apron in dressage and cones, helmet required in all phases.
