Fees:                  Horse Driving Trials:  $50/turnout                            Combined Test:  $30/turnout                  ($15 late fee)

Entries:             Entries limited to BVDC members. Open Immediately and Close July 5th   .Entries are limited to 40 and cannot be accepted without full payment of fees, current Coggins, and signed releases.  Entries received after closing may be accepted if space permits for a $15 fee.  Competitors may enter more than one turnout with the understanding that the second entry may be wait-listed and will be scheduled according to the organizers’ discretion.  Entries the day of the event (post entries) may only compete HC (no awards) if accepted.

Age:                   Drivers and Navigators under 18 must have signed parental consent.  Drivers under 14 must be accompanied by a knowledgeable adult horseperson..

Times:               Call Organizers for times between 7 and 9 PM on Friday, July 5th  610-486-6670.

Packets:            No packets.  Hazard maps and cones courses will be available on site Friday & Saturday 9 A.M. to 7 P.M.

Scratches:        If you decide not to compete, please report this to the Secretary asap to minimize schedule problems for all.

Food:                  Lunch 11:30 - 1:00

Parking Area: Please observe parking signs.  Bring and USE Muck Buckets – please remember we are guests.    

Water:               Bring your own water and ice for both drinking and washing/cooling your horse(s).

Dressage & Cones  (Presentation is “on the move” so please get your wheels measured before Dressage):

Marathon  (Safety Check for all division, 15 minutes prior to start of Section E):

Navigator:        Navigator required:  at least 14 years old and able to provide quick, reliable assistance to the Driver.

Course:            Section E only, with 3-4 hazards     Distance: 4-6 at ADS speeds    Hills, no water

Course Walk:  No official course walk - to be driven as a blind marathon.  Course will be extremely well marked!  Obstacles available for inspection Friday & Saturday 9 A.M. to 7 P.M.

Dress/Eq:          Helmets required for BOTH Driver and Navigator.   Spares kit required per ADS rules.

Directions:   From Route 1: Go North on Rt. 82 thru the village of Unionville.  Continue north on 82 past the 3-way stop (Blow Horn Corner, Rt. 841) Turn right at the next road, DuPont Road.  continue straight ( DuPont Road, the pave road will curve to the left) onto a gravel road, Doe Run Church Road for about a mile and a half.  Take the first right, Fairview Road.  Look for signs to Twin Gates.
